Of course, people could also simply take a moment to browse the

This might well save a lot of work for our beleaguered list moderator,
in 
researching and establishing such additional functionality, which the 
Freelists site might or might not support.

Shouldn't it always be the case of look first and ask questions later?

Or even the perennial "RTFM"?
