atw: Re: Much reposted subjects...

Actually, my original thought was to just develop the wiki as questions
appear - then if people feel like grubbing through the archives they can
pull old stuff out to add to it (particularly for stuff like Word
numbering, etc, where you know you posted a suberb solution and can't be
bothered re-writing it). Not that your scheme isn't admirable Steve, but
it feels *hard*!

<Shrugs>

Sounds just as viable. Shame to waste time rewriting what's been covered
though.

I'd suggest writing a list of maybe 5 or 6 subjects that are known =3D
(from
experience) to keep coming up. Then write information solely about =3D
those
subjects.=3D20

I think the archive is definitely _not_ the best place to get the =3D
source
material. It has an extremely low signal-to-noise ratio. In other =3D
words,
only a tiny proportion of it is actually useful. Why base a wiki on a
mountain of rubbish? The old clich=3DE9 applies: garbage in, garbage out.

However, I think it _would_ be productive to search the archives for
hyperlinks (such as to http://www.mvps.org/word) and make sure that =3D
most of
those _were_ included in the wiki.=3D20

Craig=3D20
