I have to confess here:
For years, I heard the line in the Stones song "Who wants yesterday's
papers" as "Who once slept in the basement". I still don't know why ...

        Seeing as it's Friday and we're OT.
        
        One of my favourites, from CCR's "Bad Moon Rising":
        
        "There's a bathroom on the right"
        
        Actually, "There's a bad moon on the rise"
        
        Funnily enough, on the "Premonition" live CD/DVD, John Fogerty
actually sings the mondegreen at the end of the song.  Must have a sense
of humour :-) .
