Josh,
A couple of cheaper options that you might to investigate are JawsPDF and 
PublishPDF. 

Both have a standard version that allows you to generate pdf files from the 
Print option, eg Jaws PDF Creator.

If you need to edit the pdfs, add bookmarks, add security features etc. you'll 
need to purchase their more expensive offerings, eg Jaws PDF Editor.

You can download a trial version of Jaws PDF Editor from 
http://www.jawspdf.com/download/. 

PublishPDF has a Pro version that provides the extra features.
