I used the info on MSDN - try:

or search for words like "2007 fluent ribbon" (the link I had in 
Favorites had changed, but I could find the article again).

I haven't used any of the suggested tools - I did manual edits 
just to see how it all worked. It was straight forward, but not 
something you'd want to do every day. For real work, I'd probably 
want to use the tools, and get VBA doing the work.
