I fail to see why non-null would not be a valid choice.  I usually use
'not null' but for an adjective, non-null looks OK to me.
 
It follows the general rule of hyphenating two-word adjectives,
although there are people out there who abhor hyphens and would ask you
to make a new word: nonnull.  I'm happier with non-null.
