atw: Re: Includetext ... updating file paths

Eureka!

You absolute beauty, Neil Maloney.

That fixed it (only late yesterday arvo, I noticed that the
MERGEFORMAT commands were being changed on Save to
MERGEFORMATINET - some utterly brain dead Microsloth idea
of "Internet" (actually the Web display layer over the
global network, but they don't understand the difference)
readiness and I thought, some horrid and deeply nested save
option is messing around here. Which is what I had been
searching for at first.

...and there you have it.

Tools > Options > General > Web Options... > Files tab
Deselect Update links on save.

How on Earth did you find that?

The "Microsloth Weird, Infuriating Feature Research Prize"
for 2005, goes to Neil Maloney!

Knew there was absolutely nothing wrong with my template.
(Phew!)

Just another nasty Word "feature" (AKA designed-in bugfest)
that they eventually realized was a horrible error of
judgement and removed it in the next version - or should
that be "subversion" ;-)

Cheers and thanks to all who pitched in.

...now to call the Help Desk!
