In my role I'm tasked with architecting distributed applications
solutions within an enterprise IT context. There has been some
discussion recently as to whether the role should be renamed Design
Specialist from Application Architect. What's in a name?

Cheers
Nigel

Isn't this just a part of the transmogrification of the language that
Pam Peters says we have to accept? Like engineered, architected, texted?
I can't for the life of me imagine what 'to architect' could mean.
I suspect that some of us have a similar difficulty with 'to humble'.
Brian.
