Been thinking about this OT topic and -
My Facebook experience is similar my blog experience. I think it's about
how much you are prepared to disclose where a word lingers in memory
(literally - on a hard disk somewhere in cyberspace).
Bloggers often use a type of speech act that intends to affirm. If
things move toward contention, the default mood is 'flame'. There seems
to be little scope for dispassionate argument.=20
