atw: Re: Graphic applications

Hi Andrew,

I use Paint Shop Pro XI and find it perfectly adequate for my needs. What is it
that you want to do that PSP can't do? GIMP is a free package - you can
download from http://www.gimp.org/downloads/. I've never used it and I'm not
sure what features it has compared to PSP.

Petra

All

I have just started a contract. They are using Office 03 and it is
fairly basic here in an IT sense. The only application that they have
for screen shots etc is Paint Shop Pro, which is OK, but it is PSP!!

Are there any better ones out there which are, of course, free. I know
that there are dozens available but it has been a while since I have had
to look. So I was wondering if there is anything new that is all
singing, all dancing out there.

I just want to do screen shots and then manipulate them.

Thanks

Andrew
