atw: Re: Fw: Adobe CS2 Creative Suite installation problems

Yeah I know Stuart, the problem I had was always going to need some
RegEdit work.
To qualify that, I WAS GENUINELY surprised about the lack of RegEdit work
I really had to do. In past experience, normally with the issue type I
had, it meant going right through the system and never only remove "Root
Classes" references. Which I suspect does go to show the quality of the
product is very high.

Anyhow, the problem would never have happened had I been at SP4, which
would have been diligent computer management wouldn't it?

Silly Dick.

*Quite logical* to expect the end user go into RegEdit and manually
remove all references to Adobe products otherwise the new versions
won't install? Am I missing something?
