Deborah,
My simplistic solution is to copy and paste the path, then edit to suit.
And this is additional to the actual hyperlink.
In our office, the path doesn't usually change.

Greetings All,
I want to set up Word (2000) so that when I insert a hyperlink (Ctrl K) and
link to a file, it ALWAYS includes the server and file path reference.
At the moment this only happens if I have NOT saved the document. If I
have saved the document it enters a relative path instead. The link still
works of course, but if someone prints the document they do not have a file
path reference.
Any thoughts?
Many thanx. Deborah :)
