I owned a Fiat 131 Mirafiori for about five years. It was a very
comfortable car and nice to drive, but as it got older the repair bills
got bigger and my bank balance smaller. I have since racked up nearly
200,000 ks in a Toyota Camry Wagon with just one minor repair (replacing
a muffler) along the way. Now that is value.
cheers
Kath

When I was an auto electrician, I really liked the Fiat owners. I never
liked working on the cars. I don't think the owners liked my bills much
though.
However, I would still if given the chance, buy an X1/9. Boyhood dreams.
And hey, you have to have something to amuse yourself. Given I am not
married, a mistress like a cantankerous Fiat would be perfect.
Then again, perhaps not...
Regards;
Warren

My first car was a Corolla, followed by a series of other dull, reliable
cars.
I don't know much about car engines.
My brother's first four cars were Fiats(1).
He knows a *lot* about car engines...
