Subject: atw: FrameMaker: Code syntax example in grey box

I have a FrameMaker formatting issue I hope I can get some help with.

I want to surround my code syntax examples with grey shading to make them
stand out, but I don't want to put the example in a single-row table cell.
Can anyone tell me how I'd define a character format or a paragraph tag that
surrounds the text with a grey shading? There has to be a way to do it! We
tried defining a graphic on the reference page and using a negative offset,
but that didn't work.

Any help appreciated! Thanks in advance.
