atw: Re: FW: Phones and all that stuff - seriously offtopic

Yeah. NICE IDEA but...

I once took an issue to the TIO.

After about 7 months I got an initial response which said I couldn't
get satisfaction
on grounds which included a statement that I had purchased a
particular satellite modem.
I had never purchased that modem; Telstra had never claimed or argued
that I had
purchased that modem. In fact, the issue arose partly because I
refused to purchase
the new modem at outrageous expense as a "solution" to a problem that
should never have
arisen in the first place. (No VPN support).
I was told I could seek a review of the initial determination.

I requested that review.

I had an acknowledgement of the request.

That was in 2006. The complaint is now 2 years and 2 months old.

Don't hold your breath.
