I had dual monitors when I did contract work for your current employer. 19"
CRTs for the first job and LCDs for the second. Wonderful.
Especially useful if:
- you're documenting software that takes up a lot of pixels
- you're using an application that has a lot of modeless windows, such as
palettes; Frame's Structure View and Designers
- you're doing web work (edit & save in one window, refresh browser in the
other window)
- you have an extremely wide head (*)
