atw: Re: Drawing Package to Intergrate With "MS" Products

Microsoft Visio has electrical engineering templates. I don't know much about
electronics but it seems to have all the clipart you would need. You just drag
it from the left and drop onto your diagram. And since it is supposed to be a
Microsoft product there shouldn't be any integration problems. If there are you
can at least get Microsoft support.

I don't know anything about the cost though.

Subject: atw: Drawing Package to Intergrate With "MS" Products

Request for advice and opinion.

Presently working in VET/VTE as an elctrical trades teacher and often have a
requirement to incorporate diagrams and or outline drawings of components and
equipment with text for handouts, practicals, notes and presentations.

Microsoft Office package is the available soft ware to produce such material.

The MS Office embedded drawing functionality or using import or insert
functions gives rise to problems.

Can any one recommend a reasonable priced SW package, having an electrical bias
(Symbols, Units, Clipart) that can be used easily, intergrates with MS "Office"
suite and does not exhibit or create formatting problems?

Thank You
