atw: Re: Drawing Package to Intergrate With "MS" Products

Hi Bill.

Try Visual Thought - it's freeware. There are many sites to get it from
(http://tersesystems.com/vt14/ is but one) and there is a reasonable
overview at
http://product-support.web.cern.ch/product-support/sdt/visualthought.html.

  Request for advice and opinion.

Presently working in VET/VTE as an elctrical trades teacher and often have
a requirement to incorporate diagrams and or outline drawings of components
and equipment with text for handouts, practicals, notes and presentations.

Microsoft Office package is the available soft ware to produce such
material.

The MS Office embedded drawing functionality or using import or insert
functions gives rise to problems.

Can any one recommend a reasonable priced SW package, having an electrical
bias (Symbols, Units, Clipart) that can be used easily, intergrates with MS
"Office" suite and does not exhibit or create formatting problems?

  Thank You
  Derek (Bill) Bailey
