Yeah but the result is often a NIGHTMARE!
I have had 40 to 100 pages of images saved as a Word document. All the
converter did was turn pages into jpg's.
I don't know whether the Adobe engineers did it to take the piss or there
was some weird wierdness in the original Word .doc or not. 
Other times when it did work, I got all sorts of total too weird-y styles in
it.
 
Either way, it always made me swear. Lucky I'm not a Methodist...

Acrobat 6 saves as Word. Whatever you use, you'll probably need to tidy up
the result.

Does anyone know of a shareware product that can convert PDF documents back
to Word effectively.  The company I am working for has "lost" their Word
files, and has to convert all their books back to Word in order to update
them - so no copyright issues - they or their writers own the copyright.
