atw: Re: CV and interview advice

I have 5 CVs to cover the different kinds of work I do. And they all have
temporal gaps.
When a prospective employer asks about the gaps, I say that I have these 4
other careers and that in this particular gap I was redesigning the Opera House
or some other project. I reinforce that this particular CV was crafted for this
particular position application.

But, on the honesty thing, when people ask in an interview how old I am, I
invariably say 175. If they push harder, I ask them what part of the
Discrimination legislation that want me to cite them for. Some come back at
that and say it's not for them, it's for their insurers - at which point I tell
them that when it comes to the medical examination for the insurer, then I will
reveal my age, and only as part of a doctor-in-confidence matter.

Brian.
