Hi Hedley,

I know, I know... but I had already chewed up several hours on this
problem. As such, I was hoping someone on the list would have already
experienced this anomaly and this would have saved spending even more
time having to 'comply' with Jeremy's naming convention requirements
which make no sense to me (his online help states that underscores may
cause a problem but conversion to Standard HTML works well WITH the
underscores).

Anyway, it turned out to be a 'doh' moment.

I forgot that I was forced to use a different PC a number of weeks ago
to sort out some other problems and I am now running on a PC with the
barest essentials. Unfortunately, this does not include any CHM
compilers for Mif2Go to play with.

I haven't worked on such a machine before so ass-u-med the HTML Help
compilers were ever-present. :)

Lesson learnt.
