Hi everyone,
I'm having a puzzling problem using FM8 and Mif2Go and I'm hoping
someone will have had experience with this one.
- I'm using Windows XP SP2, have plenty of RAM etc. etc..
- I have a book file with 8 documents.
- Many of these documents contain smaller documents imported by
reference
- The bookfile generates OK (although sometimes it loses it XRefs)
- Mif2Go to Standard HTML works fine
- Mif2Go to Oracle Help fails to generate a CHM file
- Mif2Go to OmniHelp fails to generate a CHM file
- Mif2Go to WinHelp fails to generate a CHM file
I have generated many of these versions over the years without any
problems but this time, I am working a bit differently.
Now I'm linking to sub-documents from sub-documents which are in turn
linked to the main documents in my bookfile.
I have also upgraded to FM8 and the latest version of Mif2Go since I
last tried all the Mif2Go output formats.
I can find nothing in the Mif2Go documents (apart from some naming
convention preferences which don't seem to cause a problem when
outputting to Standard HTML).
Any hints (or sympathies) would be appreciated. :)
Cheers,
Bruce
