There is only a option to save as an eps in CAD.
AutoDesk (the wacky-do 3D version) has a number of other options, although
most drawing offices probably don't use that.
I have just come back from the drawing office blokes and we had a go at
saving a CAD file as an eps file.
Worked a treat.
Just however, (always one of them isn't there,) be careful about the
amount of data in the CAD drawing.
I am trying to play with the eps file in Illustrator.
It is terribly slow...
