atw: Re: Are the bad times over?

There is certainly lots of work in Canberra at the moment,
especially for Tech Writers and BAs.
Don't forget though it is an election year and the availability
of work at the moment is either as a result of the 'feeding' frenzy
that often comes at this time of year because there is a spare cash =
surplus
or because federal departments want to get IT projects scoped, developed
and implemented quickly so that they can say "look what we have =
achieved"
when it comes to election time.
I would say it is probably the latter.
Just my .2 cents

<snip>

I'm not sure about an increase in positions in Syd, but I've certainly
noticed a big jump in advertised positions in "The Can", and Briz Vegas =
too.
Let's hope Syd follows suit.<<>>
