For a view on Arbortext that quotes some figures, see
http://www.andreas.com/faq-xml.html
Caution: the costs relate to 2001, and costs and features may have
improved.
And now for something completely different.
The Swedish company Excosoft produces an at-first-glance-impressive
XML-based documentation system called Skribenta. The English-language
Web site is at
http://www.excosoft.se/eweb/site/home.html
The description of an XML-based system for producing printed
documentation in 14 languages for a particular customer is quite
interesting. See
http://www.excosoft.se/eweb/site/FLIR_eng.pdf
There seems to be no information on costs. I don't know if there is an
Australian agent, and it may be hard to get someone to visit from the
Silicon Tundra.
