Well, it's still working for me today after the switch
of view modes yesterday seemed to sort it out.
On my computer (2003 SP2) if I click before Alt, I
don't get the text column. It's just as if I didn't
press Alt. I have to put the cursor where I want it,
press Alt then click and drag.
