Hi,
Upgrading to the Suite (1.3) seemed reasonable value to be able to get RoboHelp
7 and have good integration with FM. But at over one thousand, nine hundred
dollars just for an upgrade to TCS2, I don't feel the same now.
What annoys me is that upgrading from TCS 1.3 costs the same as upgrading from
FMv5 (or RH or even Captivate), and I don't need Photoshop.
There's a lot I like about FM9, but as RH7 does not work with FM 9 files it's
hard to justify.
Hope Hedley is correct about the discounts.
Mark

I guess the idea is to make the upgrade price for the suite (about
$1900 I think) look good by comparison:
$900 => extra features in Frame 9 over Frame 8
versus
$1900 => extra features in Frame 9 over Frame 8
plus four full TC products
The suite is pretty good value *if* you expect to use all or most
of the products. If I suddenly needed Captivate or RoboHelp for
a new contract, it might make sense, but otherwise...
