Hi All,
A colleague of mine has a problem with Adobe Acrobat. In her words:
"This is the problem we spoke about last night that is driving me nutty. I
create a largish document in Word. It has a hierarchy of headings. Before I
send it for review or publish it, I have to convert it to a PDF using
Acrobat.
All my Acrobat documents must have bookmarks down the left hand side. At the
moment I am laboriously having to add in each bookmark from every heading
and sub heading one by one. I am convinced that Adobe used to be able to
pick up the heading hierarchy and create the structure automatically, but
I'll be blowed if I can find out anywhere how.
The command that might do it under bookmarks in Adobe - 'New bookmarks' from
structure - is always greyed out. So maybe I am not doing something or other
when I convert the document to PDF.
Any ideas?"
I couldn't help but there may be someone out there who understands what my
colleague is trying to do and can shed some light.
Thanks,
Ted Mooney
