Hi Colin,
You haven't even suggested a possible item for step 1. Are we,
therefore, to assume we are all agreed on the objectives of having
credentials? I rather suspect not. Without an objective on which we
all agree, we will merely keep rabbitting at the production level, as
we have been doing for years.
BTW, I am not offering my skills and experience - I am making
an observation. And I don't see that what we are doing is 'having an
argument'; to have an argument, you need a clear proposition with
proponents and opponents stating their cases. If you wish to be
extremely generic, you could say that the proposition is
'That we have accreditation.'
However, that is so weak - who are the 'we'? - what is meant by
'accreditation'? Sorry, as it stands, that is not a proposition worth
spending any time on until it is further specified and quantified.
