I think the problem is down to all that concentration on getting to the root
of the matter, the time taken to create the Styling Plan (About This Scalp,
Table Of Follicles and the like) have that signed off, each major clump of
hair being sequentially numbered and reviewed by peer cutters ("sure we can
headers here, but the footers are the domain of our manicurist").

Then, and only then can, the "editing" commence.

Still, it could create a fascinating sub-class entitled the "Technical
Coiffure-nicator".
