atw: Re: AND, BUT, or OR as the first word of a sentence

Two books come to mind.

There's a famous science fiction book called The Night Land (1912) by
William Hope Hodgson that is set billions of years in the future after the
death of the sun. It begins about 90% of every paragraph with And, and most
other paragraphs with But, Yet, Then, or Now. It creates a very unusual
atmosphere, kind of like a continuous ominous brooding.

Then there is Lord Valentine's Castle by Robert Silverberg that beings with
And.
