atw: OT: Any Canberrians with a spare bed / lounge?

Looking damn good that I might have a permy job in Canberra. Whoa. Good
money too. I will need to crash at someone's place for a while, whilst we
establish whether its going to go for a few months, and if it is, find a
decent set of digs for a month or two, until we establish it's a done deal
and I move my house up there properly. I am hoping to spread my pain around
a few places and it's also an ideal opportunity for me to chat with a few
people I would like to catch up with <again in some cases>. So, if you have
a spare lounge in the ACT and would like a free-for-all with the Word
Heretic (and probably a few beers!) do drop me a line, so that if the opp
comes up, which it is almost certainly going to, I can schedule my ugly ass
:-)

Oh, and I finally got my new system ordered (all thanks to Mr McGhie). My
requirements have been out of spec for Dell for a year, but now they can
meet it (pricey mind). So new it cant even be built in Australia as yet.
Yumm. I can finally clean up my tool set and set up a decent ecommerce site.
After 5 years of active duty, this poor old beast needs a complete reformat
to be of minimal use.
