atw: Melbourne contract; 2 months; eastern suburbs; fibre-based security technologies industry

Dear austechies,

An experienced technical writer (3+ years experience) is wanted by a company
that develops fibre-optic based security systems. You will be updating user
manuals (and contributing to their redesign) and enhancing online help
(updating and adding context-sensitivity). The audience for the
documentation is technical and non-technical, so an ideal blend is someone
with an engineering background who also has very strong skills in writing
simple, plain, utilitarian English. (If you don't have an engineering
background but are not shy of technical material, I'd still be happy to look
at your CV.)

Advanced MS Word skills are important (macros, sub-documents, etc).

Start date: preferably before mid-March.

If interested, send you CV to me at:
