Anyone who's interested in my project to create a collaborative document
mapping out the skills used by technical writers can see the latest
version at
http://members.iinet.net.au/~howard.silcock/TechWrSkills_HSite.html.
I've had some very useful input from people on this list, but there's
still plenty of scope for others to contribute. One area where there's a
very notable gap is the one headed Information Management. If you can give
me skills that can go under that heading, you're more than welcome to
contact me. (You could also suggest an alternative heading if you don't
like that one.)
Puns are currently out of scope, though some may think they're a core
skill - well, I'm open to persuasion. Similarly anagrams...
Either email me here directly or click on the link in the document. You
don't have to be highly qualified or experienced to make a suggestion that
will be valued. Oh yes, and pointing out obvious (or not-so-obvious)
errors and typos is also a much appreciated contribution. I'll acknowledge
everyone's contributions in the document in due course - unless you ask to
remain anonymous, which is also fine by me.
