atw: MS Publisher

Guys

 

Is there anyone out there with experience with Publisher or who knows of a
list for Publisher?

 

It seems to be a much neglected product, even by Microsoft themselves, but I
have been pushing it a bit and finding it quite a useful web publishing tool
for simple material.  

 

I am creating my document in Publisher as a web document, using a web
template, then compiling it using Web Compiler into an online product.
However, before I get too far down this road, I need to know if it has any
serious file size limitations.   Currently I am planning to create a single
file of about 40 pages, which will be over 2mb.  This would not challenge
the other Office 2007 products, but does it challenge Publisher?

 

(.and before I get the hailstorm of "why use Microsoft anything" responses,
if I am to write convincing books in these products, or train in them, or
offer support in them, I need to have pushed them to their limits myself.)

 

(.and apart from that, I get a real kick out of discovering that really
simple usable products "sing".  I am all for empowering the masses.)
