Hi guys,
MS Word has done it again!. I have a series of training documents that have
links to powerpoint slides. Before I send these documents to our overseas
branches I always lock the slides so that they can download them if no
errors. However I keep hearing how these documents do not download easily.
So I tried download one myself and lo and behold, MS Word opens all my
locked links and makes them auto update! No wonder I hear complaints all
the time. Can anyone tell me why this happens and how to stop it from
happening. I can break the links but this gives me a lot of work when
updating the documents.
