atw: Job ads on ATW

AFAIK job ads are permitted on the list. Most ads that are posted to ATW don't quote a rate, just as most ads posted anywhere don't quote a rate. I agree that it's unhelpful when they don't specify a period, but read between the lines--they want someone on tap indefinitely, right up till the instant they don't want them any more.
I assume that the rate they'd like to pay is "peanuts", just as my preferred rate is "heaps", and that if I went for this contract we would eventually agree on a rate that left us both equally disappointed in these ambitions.
Matthew, do you think you could just let this one go? Just as you're annoyed to see job ads on the list, it would be equally annoying if every one is accompanied by a message from you saying, "I don't like it!"
