atw: Hedley's Adventures With OOo: Ch. 3, Files that won't print
I use OOo all the time as I no longer have access to a licensed copy of Word. When someone needs a Word format file (e.g. recruitment agent), I just save as Word and email it off.
A recipient of my resume (saved in *.doc format) has found that she cannot print the file from the (probably latest XML-based) version of Word on her computer. A newly created Word document prints fine and Adobe Reader and various other applications all print fine, but not my file. We tried saving to RTF, re-opening, and saving to *.doc again but no dice. Has anybody come across this phenomenon? What's the cause and what' the remedy? 

I will try again and also send a PDF but this is bizarre.
