atw: Fw: Adobe Designer 7 question

I have been asked to help design an intelligent from for spare parts 
enquiries. 
Using Adobe Designer (latest version of Livecycle Designer apparently). 
I have a query about writing the scripts for an if/then sequence that 
would work after selecting a particular radio button. The "then" section 
of the statement would populate a drop down list. 
I have already tried the Adobe forums several times in the past and this 
time is no different. It is like calling out in the wind on a dark and 
stormy night; no-one helps. They are totally useless. So please don't send 
me there... 

So does someone here have some knowledge of structuring the query and if 
so, can you help me? 
Otherwise can someone point me towards a USEFUL resource that might 
provide me with a leg up to start?
