Writer
As a Writer you will be responsible for the clerical work necessary for
the day-to-day running of the Navy. The duties of a Writer include; *
Calculation of pay, allowances and accounts; * Maintenance of personnel
records; * Distribution of cash payments; * Typing, filing, postage and
dispatch of correspondence; * Personal assistant to the Commanding
Officer; * Assisting with the preparation of applications for various
personnel entitlements and accounts ledgers.
Entry requirements:
You must be at least 17 years of age, and must be either an Australian
citizen or hold Permanent Residency status. Additional age, medical and
fitness guidelines may also apply.
Education Requirements:
You must have studied year 10 Mathematics and English.
