I searched on a car site for "fiat punto reliability'.
The result was this message:

Uh, oh!  Fix It Again Tony, Fix It Again Tomorrow?
Does anybody on this list own a late model Fiat Punto (2006, 2007, 2008)? How often has it had to be sent to the mechanics for unscheduled repairs or maintenance? Even better if you own a Fiat Punto 1.3 L diesel with the DualLogic auto/manual transmission.
For those who care, a British site rated the Toyota Yaris as the most reliable car, ahead of everybody including Mercedes, Beemer, etc.
