Hi All:
... Speaking of Framemaker (which I haven't used since 2000, I think it
was), I was wondering about opinions on FM vs OpenOffice.
I always thought the advantages of FM were that, first, it was rock solid;
and second, could handle multi-file documents with ease. But I found it
more than clunky. (BTW: I've never worked out what it is about the look of
a doc that says its an FM doc eg. you can tell Adobe Acrobat's help was
written in FM, but I'm not sure what it is about the look that says that.)
Anyway... once OpenOffice settles down, could it replace FM as the
wordprocessor of choice for large documents?
