TECHNICAL WRITER/ COMMUNICATOR- ADPRO

* Adelaide based position, 6 months contract with the possibility of a =
permanent position in the future
* High Technology Organisation
* Challenging and change agent role

An exciting opportunity exists for a professional Technical Writer / =
Communicator to join the Marketing / Product Management team within the =
Vision Fire & Security business.

Reporting to the Product Manager - Security, you will work closely with =
different stakeholders including regional product managers, technical =
support staff, product development and product management teams.  You =
will update and develop new product manuals, develop online help systems =
and prepare technical support material.  Your audience will be =
wide-ranging within the security industry and include installers and =
operators of monitoring stations.

To be successful in this role you will require: =20

* A formal electronics or electrical qualification to at least TAFE =
level.
* Previous experience in technical writing, particularly working in an =
IT&T/ electronics engineering / regulatory requirements environment
* Framemaker V7, FrameSLT, Robohelp for Framemaker and any graphics =
package with the ability to produce content for PDF/Print and CHM =
formats.
* Project management experience with the ability to produce quality =
material within tight deadlines
* Demonstrable high quality written communications skills, covering both =
paper and electronic media preferably with some user interface design =
experience
* A dedication to process improvement with the ability to implement =
changes      =20
* Experience or working knowledge of Structured Framemaker, XML, DTD/EDD =
construction would be highly regarded.
