atw: Estimating online documentation projects

Hi all

I'm presenting a session on estimating online documentation projects at this
year's AODC conference ( www.aodc.com.au), and would appreciate your input on a
few subjects...

Top 3 things you'd like to learn
People like your good selves are my likely audience members, so your help with
some audience research would be great. If you were to attend a conference
session on estimating online documentation projects, what are the top 3 things
you'd like to learn on this subject?

Top 3 tips and tricks from the trenches
If you've had the dubious pleasure of having to estimate online documentation
projects, what are your top 3 tips and tricks? What lessons have you learnt
along the way?

Estimating approaches
Do you follow a particular guru's estimation approach or devised your own? If
you're happy to (and allowed to!) share your estimating approach, please
outline it. Your contributions can be fully attributed or completely anonymous,
depending on your preferences :-)

Metrics
Any metrics you use in doing estimates will be extremely useful, so we can
compare and see how we stack up against each other.

Thanks in advance for your help. See you at AODC :-)

Cheers
