atw: Conference Announcement

The Australasian Online Documentation and Content Conference, AODC 2005, =
will be held May 4-6 at the Hilton on the Park Melbourne.

The conference features 22 sessions covering techniques, technologies, =
tools and case studies, 13 international and local expert speakers, =
pre-conference workshops and a Vendor Exhibition. International speakers =
include Scott DeLoach, from User First USA. Scott has presented over 60 =
papers on embedded user assistance, Web-based Help, interface design, =
usability coding and JavaScript at conferences around the world. He will =
be presenting two interesting sessions: "Using Storyboards and =
Prototypes" and "Best Practices for Embedded User Assistance". Joe =
Welinske, author of "Developing Online Help for Windows" and founder of =
WinWriters will be attending, along with the charismatic Dave Gash from =
Hypertrain Dot Com USA, Matthew Ellison from the UK and Olivia McFadyen =
from New Zealand.

Local expert speakers include Kate Burridge from ABC Radio and Monash =
University, Jill Nicholson from N&H Communications, April Weiss from =
RMIT University, Robert Chandler Microsoft Help MVP from Varian and Tony =
Self from HyperWrite.=20
