The Building a Basic Website (6 hours)
Trainer:

Prerequisites:
Basic computer literacy & use of the internet
Synopsis:
Using a variety of free or low cost applications, you will build a basic 3
page website and launch the site on a free web host. This session is aimed
at beginners who have little or no knowledge of building websites.
Topics for presentation:
1. Introduction to/Review of basic website concepts
2. Introducing Your Web Design Toolkit
3. Build Your Site Structure
4. Web Resources for Your Site
5. Setup Your Hosting Location
6. Publishing Your Site
7. Testing Your Site
8. Additional Resources

Saturday 12 August 2006, 9.00 am to 4 pm (morning and afternoon teas
provided)
