atw: Ah well it's Friday. What bugs me is....

Some of the effects of programming languages on everyday language bug me from 
time to time.  

For example, I need a new document filter to process stuff from software 
developers when they start talking about conditional applications of ... well, 
things....

You know you're dealing with programmers when you see someone keep using 
"functionality" as though it's a real word, but.....

Ever noticed, though, that when you see an IF, it's invariably followed by  
"THEN" as a form of punctuation ? 

You know a programmer wrote it.    They just can't help themselves....   

That, and the use of the future tense because they took it from the Functional 
Specs...   which specify functions. 
 
ok. It is Friday...
