atw: Advanced tech writing wish list

What would be in an advanced technical writing/documentation course? This goes
beyond what is currently offered in most available courses.
I have a few ideas, but as I need to develop such a course I would be
interested in anyone passing along their ideas.
In your experience, what advanced skills do you find important to technical
writers?? Not talking about tool use here.
The audience is technical and in the IT industry. The documents are for client
IT installations/systems and are written before and after the job.
If anyone would like to give me suggestions - on- or off-line is fine.
