atw: Admin person with Word skills

This is not a TW or editing job but may be an entry position for a capable
sensible admin person to move in that direction.  My publisher  is looking
for an admin person/gopher/problem solver type person who can do everything
from answer the phones to repair damaged documents that won’t print.  They
need to be willing to do the dogsbody work and be capable of doing
semi-technical stuff.  It could be an opportunity for someone’s mum who has
become a computer whiz in her spare time but has no formal qualifications,
or maybe a highly qualified immigrant who cannot get a start but can speak
English well enough to man the phones.  That person also has to be capable
of working for a woman, and willing to work in the print room during
seasonal peaks.

 

If anyone knows of such a rare commodity who is looking for a job, please
