atw: ASTC(NSW) members meeting: Introduction to VBA programming for technical writers Wed 30 Aug 06

Presented by Steve Hudson
Wednesday 30 August 2006

So ... you're a tech writer and you know Word pretty well. You can
record a macro, but when you look at the script ... hmmm.
Do you want to know more? Would you like to:
- Create macros that work on multiple documents?
- Create macros for automated proofing and editing?
- Unleash the full power of Find and replace?
This workshop is for experienced Word users who are interested in
effective task automation. While it won't turn you into a professional
code writer, it will save you time and money: if there is any activity
you perform repeatedly, get Word to do it for you.
Time: 6.00 to 8.30pm
Date Wednesday 30 August 2006
Location: Sydney Mechanics School of Arts, Level 1, 280 Pitt Street,
Sydney (on the Museum side of Pitt Street between Park & Bathurst
Streets)
Cost: $15.00 for ASTC members who book by cob Tuesday 27 Aug 2006,
$20.00 for others (payable at the door). Please book! It helps us to
plan the catering.
Bookings: Email: info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx , voicemail 8250 7056 or fax 9252
